• Co-Operative Work Term: During the duration of certain courses, co-operative work program is offered to students. This first hand practical experience lasts for 12-17 weeks. The tuition fees in United kingdom approximately ranges from Rs. 8,00,000 to Rs. 14,00,000 for an undergraduate programme for a year however for a master’s program the tuition fees ranges approximately between Rs. 9,00,000 to Rs. 24,00,000 per year depending upon the university and course. The living cost per year is approximately between Rs 8,00,000 to Rs 12,00,000.

Scholarships:

Certain awards are given to the students based on their performance during the course. There are certain research programmes that provide scholarships up to 100%. There are various sources of scholarships to international students offered by the university itself. Other sources through which scholarships are given are the British Government or by local organizations from the student’s home country.

Visa:

The student must apply 3 months in advance for the visa. Students wishing to Study in UK will get Tier 4 (general) student visa. The visa process has been simplified by introducing PBS (Point Based System) where one must achieve 40 points to get a student visa. Normal length of visa is full length of course plus 1 to 4 months extra depending on the program.

Work opportunities::
