Can I Work As an International Student During My Study Period?

When admission is sought into a full-time degree course, one can engage in a job for 20 hours per week which amounts to not more than four hours a day with weekends off. During the holidays, students can work full-time. Also, it is to be noted that, during a language term course, one is not permitted to work beyond 10 hours a week.

The land of kangaroos allows its international candidates to work for 40 hours each fortnight during their study term. In Australia, there are numerous part-time job opportunities for international pursuant in retail stores, supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, hotels, motels, etc. They can also take up administrative or clerical roles in various companies.  

5. Study and work in New Zealand:

International students can work up to 20 hours a week when studying full-time in New Zealand subject to their course duration being 2 years, or they are pursuing a course that is accumulating points towards their application for Skilled Migrant Category. During summer breaks, international students in the land of the long white cloud can work up to 40 hours a week.
