Singapore Institute of Management

Founded in 1964 it is a private education and lifelong learning institution in Singapore. It offers more than 80 academic programmes ranging from diploma, graduate diploma, Bachelor’s and Master’s programmes. Financial Assistance and Scholarships

The Ministry of Education gives tuition grants to pupils at local universities and polytechnics. Once international students attain tuition grants, they are required to work three years upon graduation. This can be either be at a Singapore registered company or an institute overseas. Visa

International students looking to study in Singapore need to attain a Student Pass which can be obtained through the Singapore consulate. However this is only done once the evidence of confirmed enrollment in the program and evidence of funds, which can support students through the education process is attained. Colleges in Singapore usually undertake the visa process for you. Although the processing time is 4 weeks, in some cases it may take longer than that. Not only the education institution but the local sponsor is also notified of the outcome. If you want to go a step further and work in Singapore, you either need to have an employment pass or work permit.
