To apply for Australian student visa one can begin submitting the visa 120 days prior to the beginning of the course. The pupil should have gained acceptance in a full time course, registered by the government. The Australian visa process requires the prospective student to fulfill the GTE requirements (Genuine Temporary Entrant). This measure is brought by the government to ensure that students entering the country do so for genuine education purposes and not as a means to gain a job. Students are required to show adequate funds to cover the tuition costs and living expenses.
