How we train our students

A mock is conducted on the first day of training itself, to determine where the candidate stands in terms of English language skills. The candidate is given the scores, once the test is over. The classroom training then begins; we use Barron's TOEFL Book, a standard book for TOEFL to conduct these classroom sessions.

For Reading, our faculty staffs provide details about the various types of questions, passages are assigned and students are asked to solve the passages. Towards the end of each test, difficulties are discussed and answers are explained. In Listening, the test is played nonstop and students answer the questions as they listen.

For Writing, both the types of essays are explained, along with guidelines for writing the essays. These essays are then assessed, and students are advised on how to improve on their essays.
The Speaking section is conducted on a one on one basis, and is conducted on the lines of the test. Answers are discussed once the session is complete. Scores are then given and guidelines are provided to improve the scores. In this way seven practice tests are completed with the students. Enrolling in an MSc degree program translates to making a significant investment in one’s professional career. In addition to the enhanced career prospects that can be gained by taking a Master of Science, students also develop valuable personal skills and fulfill a crucial prerequisite to PhD study. Biological and Life Sciences, Business, Engineering and Technology, and the Natural Sciences are the key academic fields of study that offer Master of Science degree programs. Master of Science candidates normally have to do independent research and present a thesis as a requirement for graduation.

UK institutions continually have to prove that their courses meet strict criteria and many other countries are now trying to follow the standards set by the UK. Many of the world’s outstanding scientists, engineers, artists, writers, thinkers, politicians and business people have benefited from a UK education, including Bill Clinton, former President of the USA; Thabo Mbeki, President of South Africa; Desmond Tutu, Archbishop and human rights campaigner; RifatOzbek, fashion designer; Wole Soyinka, Nobel prize-winning author; Stelios Haji-Iaonnu, founder of the easy Group of businesses and Imran Khan, cricket legend and politician.

A bachelor's degree, HND or Foundation Degree from a UK college or university will give you an edge when you're competing for a job or a place in a postgraduate course. It will prove to employers that you're capable of independent thought and self-discipline, used to conducting and analysing your own research and will let them know that you can make a real contribution to their company or organization. If you've got your sights set on academia for a while now, the research skills you'll gain provide the perfect introduction to future postgraduate study.

UK undergraduate qualifications let employers know at a glance that you've got the skills they're looking for, putting you on the right track for a great job and a great salary: a year after graduating, more than ninety-five per cent of UK undergraduates have gained employment. If you want to be a doctor or lawyer, you obviously have to have the appropriate qualifications, but a degree is often considered just as necessary for many other careers, such as working in government, publishing, public relations or marketing. A degree will let employers know that you're capable of independent thought, able to undertake research and analysis and that you're prepared to work hard.

Complete Your Post Graduation with the Best in the World

There are lots of things you’ll want to look out for when choosing a master’s degree. Once you know where you excel and have a rough idea of the career path you want to take, start looking through the options available to you.

Make sure you check the entry requirements for the course. Some require certain qualifications (almost all master’s degrees require the applicant to have an undergraduate degree, and some will want this degree to be in a particular subject), and each will have different expectations for the academic prowess of applicants. Some master’s degrees also require applicants to take graduate admissions tests such as the GMAT or GRE, and if you’re studying internationally, you may need to provide proof of proficiency in the language of tuition.

    Post Graduation Study Abroad

Here are some of the key elements to consider when choosing a master’s degree:

    Masters in Canada

Considering studying a Masters in Canada? Attracted by the country's reputation for friendliness, its wild and beautiful countryside and, of course, its internationally renowned universities? You’re not alone. In 1995 there were 25,000 international students in Canada; in 2011 there were over 100,000. They come from more than 200 countries.
You’ll be expected to have a minimum GPA (often of 3.0/4.0 or its international equivalent such a UK upper second class bachelor) for your undergraduate degree. Depending on your subject area, you may be asked to provide a graduate entry test score such as a Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or Graduate Record Examination (GRE).

    Get Scholarship & Fly Abroad

We all want the newest, shiniest, and fastest thing that is available.
It's a need of the senses to have something unique. If our senses never perceive anything new, we as people will never develop, but instead stagnate. The best way to avoid this stagnation is to change our environment through fresh experiences. As a life changing and incredibly meaningful experience, I personally suggest travelling abroad as the best possible way for an individual, professional and character growth.

Scholarships, financial aid and fee waivers are awarded to international students on the basis of merit and need. Candidates with strong academic records, good scores in standardized exams and extracurricular achievements will be eligible for scholarship, awards and financial assistance.

Any hesitation about studying abroad is typically related to the cost. However, what most students don’t know is that they can actually apply their current on-campus financial aid package to their study abroad trip in addition to scholarships. In fact, for some students, particularly those who pay out-of-state-tuition, studying abroad can sometimes be cheaper than a traditional on-campus semester. Over 300 students received part/ full scholarships through Edwise for courses commencing in 2014. Scholarships ranging from 5% - 100% of the total tuition fees amounting to over Rs. 5 crore have been awarded to deserving Edwise students.

A study abroad scholarship is a monetary award for students to use it towards the expenses of their program such as travel, course credits, books and lodging. Students must apply for scholarships and some can be very competitive while others are underutilized. There are several types of study abroad scholarships to apply for.

The following students were offered Scholarships by their respective Universities as mentioned in brackets, namely:
