Canada
is
considered as the ideal destination for quality studies at an
remarkably lower cost. A Degree or Diploma from a Canadian
University or College is internationally recognised & considered
equivalent to those from other International universities. The
intakes are September, January and May. Currently admissions are in
progress for the January & May 2013 intake.
Tushar Chawla, International Officer of Niagara College says “Canada not only meets, but exceeds expectations for being one of the finest countries in the world to study, work and live. With unemployment rates of less than 9.0%, the growing job market resulting in hundreds of thousands of new jobs created each year. Besides, Canada continues to welcome diversity of cultures making them exist together in a tolerant, peaceful society.
Canadian
Universities offer a wide range of programs from fine art, biology
and commerce to astronomy, media studies, information technology and
religion. Colleges offer UG and PG certificates, diplomas and
undergraduate degrees. Universities offer four year Undergraduate
Degrees and 2 years Master's programs. A popular option in collegesis
that during/after their program students also can avail a
Co-op(work) semester thus getting some hands on work experience and
increase their chances of getting into the workforce after their
program.
Yvain
Pereira pursuing his Postgraduation from Centennial College says”
It is a very good college, the courses are practical and provide an
in-depth view of the subject. I have no worries about my future now,
as I am sure I will be equipped to face the world.”
Once
you’ve completed your studies, you can apply for a post-graduation
work permit, which allows you to work in Canada. Under the
post-graduation work permit program, international graduates who have
studied a 2 year program can now obtain a 3 year open work permit on
which they can work for any Canadian employer in any industry. Those
who study for a 1 year program can work for 1 year upon the
completion of education. The immigrant friendly policies are also
another reason why students prefer Canada.
The
Canadian High Commission has a very successful student’s friendly
programme known as the Students Partnership Programme or SPP. The
main aim of this programme was to increase the rate of approvals of
study permits.
All
the above benefits have attracted a large number of students applying
to Canada resulting in several programs almost getting full for the
Jan 13 intake. We officially
represent over 60+ Public Funded Universities & Colleges in
Canada & counsel most of the institutions in Canada, thus
students are advised to rush with their current documents at the
earliest to save on the application fees, as well as not miss the
intake and have sufficient time for the visa process. Those looking
for Masters Degree programs must apply at the earliest to ensure
seats for Jan/ Sep 13.
Students
should not be mislead by unauthorised agents, subagents, immigration
consultants, etc. about courses, job opportunities, work permits and
permanent residency. They must ensure that they go to an Authorised
direct representative like us.
